"I wanted something on my wrist that reminded me of the ocean. I couldn't find it, so I designed it myself."

My name is Chris. I'm 31, I'm Greek, and I founded Manatā.

Most days you'll find me at the beach, on a padel court, or at the gym. I love to surf and I'm into automotive culture.

But this brand didn't come from any of that. It came from a moment in the city. Stressed, buried in work, completely disconnected. I just wanted something on my wrist that reminded me of the ocean. Something that said: calm down, you're good.

I looked around and couldn't find it. Everything was gold or silver. Classic, clean, forgettable. Nothing felt like French Polynesia. Nothing felt like Hawaii. Nothing felt like those places that make your whole nervous system relax the second you arrive.

So I designed it myself. Every piece starts as my sketch, then it's brought to life by skilled artisans who care about the details as much as I do.
